Alphecca blogs about a Philly Inquirer article comparing the process of buying a gun in NJ and PA.
[EDIT] David Hardy is blogging about the same article.
In the wake of the widespread firearms confiscations, a number of states passed initiatives making to codify that no one in government in that state has the authority to confiscate firearms during a state of emergency. A similar measure has come before the US senate and passed by a margin of 84 to 16. Who were the 16 that voted against your right to defend yourself? No big surprises other than Kerry voting for the measure:
As is often noted, the only parties who benefit from gun confiscations are criminals and abusive governments. Once again we see the patern being repeated in Keny and Uganda where UN lead gun confiscations have have directly led to ongoing and widespread atrocities.
10 out of 10 murderous tyrants prefer their victims disarmed and unable to resist. The same goes for rapists, thieves, and murderers.
