NJ Senate Race Update PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 25 July 2006
The NJ Senate race pitting Tom Kean Jr. vs Robert Menendez is consistantly being rated as the #1 race to watch this election season.  Kean has had strong polling ever since declaring his candidacy and thwarted the early rumors that once the democratic ticket was decided, Menendez would pull far ahead.  Current Quinnipiac polling shows Kean has just pulled ahead, 40-38 with 18 percent undecided.  That large pool of the famous New Jersey independents will in the end decide this race.  Unfortunately, Kean hasn't been a strong advocate of Second Amendment rights but he isn't the declared enemy of them that Menendez is.
