The New York Times has given their endorsement for NJ Senator. No big
surprise but they are endorsing Menendez. In fact, every single
politician being endorsed by the NY Times this cycle in every race is a Democrat.
They are no longer the least bit shy of showing their bias.
It gets worse with their endorsement
of Menendez as they show contempt for even maintaining a semblance of
neutrality
Our unqualified [emphasis
added-ed] endorsement goes to Robert Menendez.
They endorse Menendez unconditionally and without
reservation. Yet earlier in the article, they described him:
Mr. Menendez has a history
of ethical lapses that have been all too common for Democratic officials in New
Jersey, especially for those, like him, who continue to take an active part in
local party politics. If re-elected, the senator should make it clear he is giving
up any role in the Hudson County Democratic organization.
He may be a cheat, liar, thief and the party boss of the Hudson County machine
but as long as he's a Democrat, no sin is too great. The ethical lapses that the
NY Times acknowledges being plentiful among Democrat officials in New Jersey will keep on
occurring without accountability.
Is it just me or does anyone else find this state completely demoralizing?
