Law professor and blogger Instapundit has put PDF files of several  pieces of his original legal scholarship related to the Second Amendment and self-defense rights.  All four papers are good reads especially if you have a legalistic interest in your rights and the law.  He added his paper on his idea of compulsory bearing of arms which sent the Brady's Helmke into a frothing-at-the-mouth fit recently at the Brady Bunch Blog (via SayUncle).  It's worth checking out the user comments at their blog where gun owners have arrived en masse to address the lies and propaganda. 

I have to give kudos for the Brady's to leave comments open like that.  Perhaps they don't realize they are being swarmed by gun owners and advocates and will do a mass delete followed by closing comments soon.  If it is intentional though, good for them.
