First it was the black bears. Now coyotes. Now cue the animal rights extremists coming to the aid of coyotes and defending their right to feed on human children. Come to think of it, how many New Jersey children are killed annually by bambi running in front of their mom's SUV?
What does it all mean? We need to consider sensible game management policies. Rather than throwing milllions on unworkable birth-control solutions for wild animals, the state needs to utilize its greatest game control asset--hunters. It is the humane thing to do as population pressures push wild animals into the domain of humans.
