This is living proof that guns are life support equipment, just like a seat belt or fire extinguisher.  It never ceases to amaze us that in our American culture where we expect instant gratification from microwave pizza, drive-through hamburgers and 200 satellite TV channels, that inexplicably, we're content to wait an average of 10 minutes for police to arrive.  Go figure
