Anti 2nd Amendment Legislation

A128 - Establishes the “Firearm Automated Licensing System”

A339 - One handgun per month
Identical Senate Bill S1774

A681 - Prohibits the sale, importation, possession and carrying of handguns except by certain authorized persons.
NOTE: This is a complete ban on ALL handguns in NJ except for Law Enforcement and Military Personel! (while working in the line of duty, ONLY)

A2022 - Requires radio frequency identifying devices in handguns sold by licensed retail dealers.

A2490 - Requires handgun ammunition to be encoded with serial number.
Identical Senate Bill S1678

ACR137 - require background checks for the sale of guns at gun shows.
(In addition to the National Brady check. I guess NICS isn't good enough anymore.)

S494 - Establishes “gun-free” and “weapon free” zones around certain school and public properties.
(In addition to NJ's very restrictive "May-issue" CCW laws)

S498 - Requires newly manufactured handguns be micro-stamped.

S715 - Clarifies that “airsoft” guns are firearms.

A2116 - Revises definition of destructive device to include weapons of 50 caliber or greater.
Please note: No where that I've seen in the context of this bill does it explain the justifiable reason for its introduction and existance.

A632 - Increases Firearm permit and license fees.

Anti-Self Defense Legislation

A3356 - Regulation of all martial arts classes in the state, requiring licensing of all instructors and regulatory oversight of martial arts schools.
