Customs officers have seized one of the largest quantities of illegal weapons ever discovered in Australia after raiding five properties in Sydney's south.

Sounds impressive, right?  You immediately think a few tractor trailors full of Ak-47's, anti-personal mines, and some stinger missiles, right?  Well, read on...

Customs said its officers raided the premises in the past two days at Hurstville and Riverwood, seizing 449 knives and daggers, 267 replica firearms and 171 electric shock devices, including stun guns.

The cache also included 86 slingshots, 88 bags of slingshot ball-bearings, 75 sword sticks and 10 blowdarts.

Is this what Australia has been reduced to?  Sensationalistic stories about smuggled weapons that are really about replica firearms,  slingshots, and "sword sticks"?  It sounds like they confiscated the contents of a time capsule from my boyhood.  Hell, sword sticks, blow guns, and sling shots?  Apparently I would have been an illegal weapons manufacturer and distributor had I grown up in the Australia of today.

Never forget, this is what the likes of George Soros, Sarah Brady, Bryan Miller, and the U.N. have in mind for us in the U.S.   That some day possession of a sling shot ball bearing will be treated as harshly as possession of hollow points is treated here today in NJ.  Australians apparently have already become accustomed to the absence of their just rights.  Just like the Sheeple here in New Jersey.

Reminds me of the campaign to ban pointy knives in the U.K.
